A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I was born in Japan and moved to Chicago when I was a few months old.  I learned to read music while playing the accordion, electric organ, and trumpet before I was ten, when my family moved to Tucson.  My mom suggested I play guitar, and I did.

Early on, as I learned the guitar, I started to get feelings and opinions about things that I was compelled to write about, which led to a life-long career as a songwriter. I started writing songs regularly, seriously, and chronologically. Some people keep journals or write poems and letters. I write songs.

I'm writing the best songs of my life right now, and lots of them. I'm working on my tenth home-studio album, “Seasons”, with the help of my band,  Jeneration Jones, and featuring L.L. Grimsey on vocals and guitar.

I've had three number one songs on the SoundClick Acoustic Rock Chart already this year, and twelve more in the top fifty.  I'm beginning to experience more success and exposure on the internet.

Please check back to see what's new and listen to the new tracks for “Seasons” as I post them.
